Common Problems and Solutions When Using TAIYO Rubber Products
1、The fastness problem of the new table glue：Poor fastness means that the glue on the table does not have a strong bond with the table surface. After being washed with water, it is prone to breaking off in pieces or falling off completely.
Method one：①Before applying the adhesive, it should be washed clean with sandpaper and washing powder.
②Adding about 0.3% of a catalyst to the table glue increases its tensile strength. polyfunctional aziridine is recommended.
③Once the normal thickness is reached, no catalyst is needed (otherwise the adhesive viscosity will become weaker)
2、The problem of excessive stickiness of table glue
Due to the variety of fabrics，the requirements for the stickiness of table glue are different,For some ordinary cotton fabrics with low stickiness requirements for the table glue, the viscosity can be reduced by adding an appropriate amount of catalyst or color-fixing agent based on experience!It is also possible to use a portion of the dry-resistant and strong-performing transparent pulp! (The specific addition ratio depends on customer requirements.)
3、The problem of table delamination：The problem of layering of table glue is extremely rare. It usually occurs when using rubber sheets from two different manufacturers.
Method one：①To avoid problems, it is recommended to conduct a small-scale test before applying the table glue or add about 1-2% of the aziridine catalyst to apply 1-2 layers first.
②Then cover it again without adding any catalyst for normal use.
Method two：①Before applying the table glue， it is necessary to rinse it thoroughly with sandpaper and washing powder.；
②Mix one-half of table glue and one-half of our new table glue evenly and apply it in 1-2 layers.
③Just apply our new type of glue separately until it reaches the normal thickness.
Notes
1.Table glue can be used with water, but its water resistance will deteriorate after being mixed with water. Moreover, since the water used is tap water, its shelf life is very short. It should be used up as soon as possible to avoid the deterioration of the product (if a certain proportion of preservatives is added when mixing with water, the problem of odor generation can be avoided).
2.When using tile table glue in rainy and humid weather, it, like other water-based materials, will absorb moisture. Therefore, the surface layer of the table glue does not dry easily. Before the fabric is processed, it is necessary to check the surface of the table glue or pass the tile board drying oven several times to ensure that the table glue is completely dry.
